Mellow Johnny’s is going to be closed all week, due to being rented out by Gatorade for SXSW. That’s a whole different level of madness as far as downtown is concerned. Plenty of folks on bikes though, and yes, the river trail is very nice for cycling. So is the Lower Walnut Creek trail, a traffic free path from east Austin out to Manor.
