Thanks, Howard. With fixed gear, I’m shifting to pedal retention and forefoot pedaling, hense the need for a stiffener.
My wife reminded me we have 1/4” plywood Purebond (no formaldahyde, though who knows what else is in there. My brain doesn’t like formaldehyde.). Cut inserts out of that.A bit thick, but may be workable. Time will tell. Anyone know a source for formaldahyde free 1/8” plywood?
