Howdy,

Here to show off my new-to-me Atlantis, my first Rivendell. Jonathan D. outed
it for sale last week and I was able to pick it up the next day, thanks
Jonathan! I have been riding various 26” drop bar MTB conversions the past few
years and while those have been mostly fun, this is a huge upgrade and pretty
much solves everything I didn’t like about each of those. More stack, slacker
STA, steeper HTA, longer chainstays, and much nicer looking. Yup, this does it
all.

I immediately stripped down my Novara Ponderosa and put everything on the
Atlantis except opting for higher gearing with the Logic’s over the Suntour
Micro Drive cranks. Also swapped RD’s but everything else is the same. I will
likely swap stems and brake levers for a Nitto Tallux and Shimano levers soon
and rewrap bars, too. I’m kind of stuck on color but I’m thinking burnt orange,
light blue or khaki. Open to suggestions if anyone has any. Maybe I’ll do
another two-tone...

Also working on an adapter to get my Tara rack back on with level rails. That
should be done next week, there are a few pics of the some prototypes I cut
today.

I’ve ridden it with Thunder Burt’s and RTP EL’s so far and it’s pretty much
everything I want it to be. So glad to have been able to pick this up and that
I was able to swap everything over so easily. I would not have been able to
swing this if I didn’t have everything on hand, so that’s nice. Also, looks
like this Riv has some history with another list member, so that’s pretty cool.
