Thanks Steve. From what I can tell Portugal is (re)building out a great deal of biking infrastructure. Apparently, in 1950 50% of all highway transit was by bicycle. Like everywhere else in the industrialized world, this % has dropped dramatically ever since. Like Holland, Portugal is attempting a comeback. I’m tentatively planning 200-300 miles of paved and dirt (no-car) trail riding down the western coast. ~Sean
