I'm a big fan of SRAM's road groups, and I love the 2008 Rival parts in silver. I really wish that they hadn't switched to black / carbon in 2009. I think a pair of NOS silver Rival brifters would have been great on this bike. But you also could have used SRAM's non-series TT barcons. They're black, but I don't think they would have looked too shabby.
