I’ve recently noticed that Apple’s Mail apps (on computer and mobile devices) has recently started sending many (most?) messages from this list to a Junk folder. Ads about stuff for sale seem to be especially affected—the original post goes to junk, but the replies to the list come through. Other than that, there’s no readily apparent logic. Posts about cool rides and interesting photos also get the spam treatment.
