I just talked to my brother Peter, who bought it, recalled to fixed gear riding after an absence -- fixed riding either captures you or rejects you, it seems. And this after he sold numerous nice track bikes, including a too-small-for-him but just-my-size '60s Paramount track bike that in my experience handled much like, and took larger tires than, early Riv Roads. I wish I'd bought that one from him.
