If you have a friend who can make the one then that same friend can likely pull off the velcro straps from the brand-v bag and put on whatever kind you'd like. I've got a brand-v seat bag and I've looked at it. Probably 10 minutes with a seam ripper to get the velcro off and however long to put the new one on. The bags aren't so bulky to make them impossible to get under a presserfoot.
