I guess I'm a 2TTer by epoch, though I really didn't care for the double
top tubes when I first saw them. Then we got to the diagatube which I
couldn't tell if I liked or not but eventually settled on liking, and now
we have the bridge truss curved second tubes, and I love those. I got back
into cycling as an adult in 2008 or 2009, quickly found Rivendell, and
immediately lusted after their bikes even though I figured I'd never be
able to afford one. I was particularly drawn to the green Sam Hillborne,
but also to EcoVelo's Orange one. I ended up buying a number of used bikes
(largely Bridgestones, Univegas, and old 3-speeds) but mostly rode my 1984
Univega Gran Turismo with some Riv inspiration for parts and fit. A couple
months ago I got a great deal on a NOS green Sam Hillborne frame and that
is now my favorite bike to the point where I am selling all my others
except the Gran Turismo, which I may try to trade for a larger size bike of
similar nature.

Also Mike Godwin, I love that diagram!
