The medium seems not quite twice the size of the bagboy, but close. I have a kangaroo pouch from my medium I put on the bagboy, it's an essential addition to the bagboy, sometimes I leave it off the medium as it's got the side pockets. Both great bags, I do like the single strap closure on the bagboy. Might be worthwhile waiting to see the new medium bag that'll be hitting the shelves soon, the happibag I think? -Kai BKNY
