Sorry to hear that news. I’ve had a few lights grabbed in the past. Very inconvenient but also gets your attention as to how exposed a bike can be. I tend to hook my helmet onto the u-lock for safe keeping. In some areas I’ve gone as far as removing my seat post with saddle and bag and carrying it in with me. I did the math and it came to about $400-500 (the Sackville also got me compliments in the local REI). Even if I don’t remove the seat, I do grab my multitool and take it with me. At least if someone wanted to take my seat and bag, they’ll have to bring their own tools.
