Dave, you’re good on any Riv bike sized for you. I’m 200 lbs and ride my Quickbeam (similar to AHH in stoutness?) on steep, rocky, rooty mountain singlestrack with a 30 lb saddle bag and it does brilliantly. Seriously, a non-issue. Give Riv a call and they can talk you through it.
