Why use p-clamps? It looks like there are 2 holes (possibly threaded) in the dropouts -- they're lower and farther back, would be more secure mounting points, and would make the rack geometry better (less backward tilting). I'm presuming the tilt is to try to avoid heel strike with panniers?
