Want to run a Sugino XD600 triple with 24-36-48 but the FD-M780 says it’s a max 44t chainring ... I’m already using a 46t chainring and I know the specs always have some wiggle room, but figured 48t is too high for the M780.
Looking at the T780 (M for mountain, T for trekking apparently). It says 44/48t max chainring but comes in two options for chainstay angle: 63-66 degree 66-69 degree The M780 simply comes in 66 degrees apparently. So which is the right T780 derailleur to order? 63-66 or 66-69? Sam is 56cm Cheviot is 60cm Also, any reason this isn’t a more common triple range (24/36/48)? Seems to be quite wide without too much overlap. Running 11-36t or 11-34t 9-speed cassette. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
