Ted: Aye, if naught else, Nobilette can fabricate them, but that’s a wee bit of testing and result dependent from now. Mark: As a demo, it’s the build that it is, and it is a quirky one for Rivendell. Index shifting, I belive, on 1x11 drivetrain. If I did the gear calculator correctly and guessed the correct 11-46t cassette (yowza!), then I have 18-78 range of gear inches. I’ll be able to gain speed at 50 mph down hill with a tail wind, and sit and spin my lazy carcass up more than I can imagine, all with one chainring. Weirdly, I’ll be able to do all that shifting WHILE RIDING, without stopping and pulling out an allen wrench and wrestling with a 75 lb uncooperative beastie with a mind all its own. Well, presuming my brain is happy switching back and forth fixed to free. Grin. I’m quite excited to see how this goes!
