Cross post from the iBob list... Got a pair of low-mileage 700 x 48 Supple Vitesse tires that just didn't work out for me. They have maybe 100 miles, perhaps a bit less.
I tried them on two different bikes (both could barely fit them), and just didn't care for the handling and/or the millimeters of clearance I had left over. On H+Son TB14 rims, they each measured right at 47.5 mm. FYI, one of the frames was the latest canti-Sam; they just cleared by 2-3mm at the brake bridge. Anyways, asking $55 plus shipping for both, but would prefer a pair of Compass/Rene Herse tires for trade, either 35 or 38mm width, as long as they have some good life left in them.
