Hi -

In November, I bought a Hubbuhubbuh tandem from Rivendell. My wife and I
have been riding an old tandem. My wife is disabled. Bike rides are her
favorite form of exercise, and this helps her condition tremendously. She
loves to ride, but does not love the old tandem - with it's
slightly-too-big frame and somewhat rough ride.

In November, I persuaded her to join me on a test ride of Grant's tandem.
>From the second she got on the bike, she loved it. Mark and I started to
spec the tandem then and there. Wheels are Rich-built with White Industries
and Schmidt hubs, Cliffhanger rims, Paul Klamper disc brake, Nitto basket
rack, etc. An in-progress photo of the build from several weeks ago is
attached.

To get to the point - I have a workable stoker stem. It's not the Nitto
stoker stem made for the Hubbuhubbuh. But it works. Comes very close to
duplicating the position of Grant's stoker stem on the test ride.

However - if anyone has one of the original Nitto stoker stems made for the
Hubbuhubbuh and does not need it - I would be happy to take it off your
hands.

Namaste,

Corwin
