To Mark's point, you'll need to secure the freewheel somehow so you can get 
at that lock ring with a lot of force - maybe even a pipe wrench.  They 
used to make a freewheel holder that fit into the jaws of a bench vise (one 
is pictured on Sheldon's website 
here https://www.sheldonbrown.com/freewheels.html - scroll down to the 
heading "Sprocket Replacement and Restoration").  I had one at one point, 
but the tool box I kept it in was stolen.  Unlike the DNP product, other 
manufacturer's freewheels were set up so that the smallest sprocket was 
threaded and a chain whip could be used to unscrew it.  This model looks 
like DNP intended for a special tool to be used.
