One word review from first full ride on all surfaces: Solid. More word review: Each gear feels closer to the solidity of fixed gear or single speed, I presume because of the combo of 9 speed chain and steel cogs. Interestingly, this gives a wider range of comfort for each gear. With the 11 speed I always felt like if I pushed it in a gear the gear would skip/bend/break. I'm delighted so far.
