I had Big Apples with Berthoud fenders on my 58 700c Atlantis. I have Planet Bike fenders on my 56 Atlantis. I like the Berthouds but being the lazy dude that I am, I went with the Planet Bikes on my 56 simply because they are quick and easy to mount. You probably put the 12-36 on because somewhere deep in your mind you know someday, somewhere you are going to need every bit of it. I always say better to have it if you do need it than to need it and not have it.
