I don't have a country-of-preference. I like bike stuff made by workers who aren't treated badly and whose work can be valued for quite some time to come. I The article about the taylors in BQ should point up the point better than anything else - the bicycling design world is VERY incestuous and pointing to any one design and saying "that is clearly from Japan" is a bit of a stretch.
