I have put around 5000km on my Rene Herse cranks, I've no complaints about them. The main pro's for me are the light weight, variety of chainring combinations available, and the good looks. They seem plenty stiff but I'm not putting down big watts or anything. The main downside to both of these options is that if you're wearing boots or wider shoes and using flat pedals, their heel clearance isn't great. Well that and the enormous price on the Herse.
