I'll say that my Hillborne, with 40 Maraton Supremes, rides like a tank. A really expensive tank, with amazing suspension. The Deore XTs and Mavic A719s and 36h lacing might have something to do with that, too.
I'm 200+ and typically ride with a timbuktu and a left pannier, lock/cables, etc... haven't ever felt a more glossy ride from a bike, though i can still feel the road perfectly, if that makes any sense. because it's so "sturdy" i do find it's much more important to unweight the seat on this bike or i get bounced, but that's more about my riding skills than anything. -andrew On Apr 21, 2010, at 2:07 PM, Johnny Alien wrote: > Wow.
