Thank you! I’ve spent a lot of time/mental RAM on the component choice (trying for equal parts of form and function) so I’m very happy it came out riding just as beautifully as it looks. The bars are the Velo Orange Granola Bar mounted to their two bolt (31.8) stem. I’ll be trying these for a week and then giving a pair of the narrower bullmoose Bosco bars a try. I’m pretty sure I know which I will like more, but I’m also considering flaring the Bosco’s so they have the same profile as the Granola without being so noodly. The flatness of the Granola bar makes it a lot more versatile in terms of usable real estate; the drop off on the Bosco makes for only one truly firm hand position. Oh, and the rack is the Nitto 32r. I think they called it the “medium big rack” or something like that. It seems to be discontinued, as all of the similar racks I’ve found lack the pannier rails below the platform. Mr Jason Bombadil himself has the same rack on his beautiful unpainted masterpiece, which informed my purchase as his was the only photo I could find of one mounted on a bike. Sorry I’m so blabby; I’m still in the overly excitable phase with this bike (bought it last week and only finished building it less than 24 hours ago) so thank you for baring with me! -Addison
