But, I would not leave it anywhere without a really good lock. I do not recall there being many places to lock up your bike. It is high traffic but the speeds are low downtown due to the squares - very fun to navigate with so many beautiful residential streets. I found the drivers largely not unfriendly. Good shoulders. I recall a PBS cycling series that featured Savannah in an episode. It was a good watch. I would cycle there any day I could.
