I was not as turned off by the visuals as you appear to be when I put
Big Apples on one of my 700s.  The problem I had is with me just under
6', BAs made the otherwise proper fitting bike too high for comfort.
Every time I stopped at a light I had to jump off the saddle to get my
foot on the street.

Big tire 650bs fit and look better.
