Hi everyone! I'm here, once again, to humbly seek out your advice. I've combed through the (many, many) results here on 1x11 drivetrains and still have two questions. I am using a silver2 shifter.
1. Has anyone been able to get a Shimano Altus/M310 to shift 11 speeds to a rear cog with 42t? I can get it to 37t but no farther. 2. If you have successfully used silver2 shifters with an 11-speed cassette and ≥42t cog, what derailleur did you use? Am I best off with the Shimano M8000? REI currently has a sale on Shimano Alivio M3100-SGS 9, Shimano Deore M5120-SGS 10/11, M4120-SGS 10/11.
