Thanks Curtis for the link. This completely mirrors my experience. I had an MRI on my left knee in 2009, and was a candidate for a knee replacement in the near future. I took up cycling in 2010 after a twenty year hiatus and have ridden over 40,000 miles since then. Other than some daily aches and pains, my knees are in good shape and no talk of any knee replacement.. My weight, cholesterol, heart rate and blood pressure are better than at any time in my life. I will be 62 in November. I do believe healthy eating is an important part of the overall health equation, and I do walk about 1200 miles/year. Movement is medicine! Randy in WI
