42/19 = 2.21 X 26.6 (per JimG; the numbers from that site pretty closely
match my empirical measurements) = 58.8 gear inches.

I’m familiar enough with my own drivetrains to know how a 175 mm crank
compares to a 170 with the same ring/cog X wheel diameter; the empirical
upshot is a bit less than 1 tooth less for the longer crank; ie, the
48/17X25.6" 72” gear with 170 mm cranks on my Matthews errand road bike
would be the more-or-less equivalent of a 48/16.5X26.5” gear with 175 mm
cranks.
