I was detailed up to Sacramento for two days, and was wise enough to take my Quickbeam along. I had down time this morning, and had a chance to ride from Old Sac to Folsom Dam and back on the American River Bike Trail, about 18 miles each way. Wonderful ride! What a great resource this trail is for Sacramento locals.
I have given the Beam yet another makeover since I last posted it. It now has Alba bars, Paul brake levers, Brooks B-68, and V Brand Keven's bag (Great bag). I removed the front rack, and have been toting things with the Brand V tote. I've grown to like it quite a bit. I really like this current version of the Quickbeam. Perfect set up for a trail like this. Wildlife spotted: Antelope (yes, antelope, not deer), wild turkeys and their young ones, hawks, deer, and some sort of Garder snake (fast). Wonderful day. Anyway, I'm too lazy to describe each photo, but you can see them here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/8581...@n03/sets/72157624271237165/ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
