Eric, I was curious with the same exact question when ordering my AHH. Most of the pictures I had seen were of the (standard?) darker blue which was fine with me. The 59 I ordered however was in the "other" blue. Jay told me it was quite similar, but with a slight sparkle to it. Not overly concerned since I have not seen a Rivendell color I didn't like. I have to say I was VERY happy when I got the frame. The blue is just a bit lighter, but has an almost iridescent pearl top coat. Very difficult to describe, impossible for me to capture via camera, but beautiful all around!
