I wish you both were coming. Last I heard there were 15ish people committed. A bigger group would be nice, and it’d give me better odds of not being the only woman on the ride. It will be fine either way, but showing up on your My Little Pony-inspired purple Platypus with a bunch of dudes is…not ideal.

Ditto, I'm in IN and would head up for this weekend, but I'm already scheduled to work...
I'll keep an eye out for next year

That looks like a great weekend, and a reasonable drive from western PA but I'm driving the other direction that weekend for a DC to PGH trip.

Hopefully something similar next year and I'm IN.

He is doing this for the first time, so not an annual thing. But we had a ball when he hosted a Riv Ride in the same area last fall! You Californians have a lot of great places to do this, too, since you can’t make this event. That new Homer would be dreamy!

Wow. This looks amazing.
Is it around the same time every year?
I’d def be down to coming out next year.

How fun! And hope you have an absolute blast!

If any of you live in driving distance of Ann Arbor, Michigan, you aren’t going to want to miss  the Autumn Classic bike camping weekend. Jeff Marco is hosting, and if last year’s event was any indication, we will be having the time of our lives. He had a Riv-specific event last year - just a ride, no camping - but this year it’s expanded to include all bikes and spans a weekend. Come with your Riv and represent!

Imagine the most darling storybook farm - that’s where we’re pitching our tents. Food is all arranged, but bring your own coffee set-ups. There are 3 dirt road routes to choose from, so something for everyone. There will be campfires and camaraderie and a sandy-bottomed lake that I am told is my shower for the weekend. A new first! Fall color is starting to pop and you want to be here for it.

Check out the event on IG and Bike Reg and hurry up- you only have until the 18th to register!

See you next weekend!
