Okay, have decided it's time to retire the black Brooks B-17 that's currently on my Sam Hillborne. Am replacing it with a honey color model. The bike is the green Hillborne. Just re-wrapped my handlebars with black foamycork last week.
While there is no problem with the wrap as-is, the look will now clash a touch more. So the question to the group - do I take off the current tape and re-wrap with a different color cork, or buy some Newbaum cloth tape and go over the cork? If so, what color? My first choice would be a dark blue as it would hide the dirt best. Of course, keeping the black would work just to be contrarian. And makes it easier to test ride the bike after tinkering and not worry about the wrap. Thanks.
