You said that you made sure the tire was seated properly but sometimes it’s 
hard to tell. I’ve had a squish before even though I thought the tire was 
properly seated. My usual solution is to inflate past my desired pressure 
until I’m satisfied I’ve heard all the pinging to be had. Then I release 
pressure until it’s where I want it. It solved my swish problem.
