NM? SoCal?? We have very little of that stuff called "water" that translates
into atmospheric humidity. It has been very humid here in Albuquerque; damn
humidity has been in the low 20s -- we're nearing our "monsoon" period when
we get 2/3 of our annual 9 inches. It's been hard to bear, what with temps
in the mid 90s. SoCal, at least near the ocean, is even better: temperatures
in West LA soar into the low 80s in July and August. (Inland it is
different.)

Sorry for scoffing; we have it easy here in the SW.
