I'm in Houston and sweat like crazy pretty much from april to
november.

Mainly, i just got used to the heat and now embrace the sweat. I can't
take the cold anymore and I'm from NY.

But hydration is key. Definitely some kind of electrolytes for
anything over 12-15 miles for me.
And listen to your body. If you're slower, you're slower. That's not
such a bad thing.
