There seems to be a variation among these "first generation orange" Rams 
from what I've read on this "group."  I have one of those and I'm using 
32mm Pasela's along with SKS fenders and those are just about the maximum 
fit for that frame with the Shimano SP brakes I've installed.  Others have 
suggested that variations of this same frame have a brake bridge mounted 
mounted a bit higher to allow for larger tires, brakes, and fenders.  Not 
sure about that.  Another thing I've noticed is that the the brazed-on rack 
mounts on the seat stays are too low to allow for a rack that doesn't 
interfere with the rear brake on smaller frames. I've managed to make it 
all work for me after tweaking things quite a bit, but YMMV.
