Hey, I was just up in your neck of the woods with my Saluki (and 650b'd Curtlo mountain bike) a few weeks ago. What a beautiful area for biking. Have you done the path from Charlevoix to Petosky?

"that's a Rivendell jersey!" etc. etc. etc. Then he had to admire Bleriot (in travel mode, rather than front/rear rack, hammered Honjo, generator-hub-wheel mode). Took awhile to escape from the driveway! Finished the ride a couple of hours later (was ambushed by many photogenic wildflowers and a tub of smoked whitefish spread from the original fishmonger in town). My SIL: "that guy was really interested in your bike." Me: "Yeah. It happens fairly often..."
