FWIW, I've ridden the whole of the Creeper on my Ram, in two parts... >From Abingdon to Damascus and back by myself, then from Damascus to Whitetop and back a few weeks later w/ my son. A few weeks from now should be fine weather, the last of this heat will be gone; but you'll be too early for the colors (but, you won't have the crowds w/o the colors, either)...
