If you are on the fence, buy Keven's bike. I can't say enough good things about my 62cm Legolas. It works great as a pure road bike, with excellent climbing and descending manners. Finally, with the Legolas I may understand Jan's concept of Planing. But of course this frame will take 35mm knobbies and do rough-stuff rides. I don't carry stuff on my Legolas and mounting fenders would be hard, but not impossible. It simply adds alot of fun to fun&fitness rides. I have an 89cm PBH; fits nicely in the Rivendell style.
