Stan's is a great product for what it's designed for, but I'm not sure it would work with a 700x28. I use it on my mtb's at pressure of 30 psi for a 2.2 inch tire.
Tires should have a kevlar bead to be used with the No Tubes system. Do the GB's have that? Stan's has a 700x35 cyclocross tire and a cyclocross tubeless kit. They recommend 45psi max. Would that kind of pressure work for you with GB's? I have never gotten a flat with Stan's riding mtb, so you'd be even less likely on the road (assuming it worked with GB's). The flats that Stan's riders get tend to be sidewall tears or the bead unseals from a hard impact. I would use Stan's on the road if I thought it would work, but at my weight I prefer higher pressure than I think would work with Stan's. jim mather wc ca On Sep 16, 9:08 am, Joe Bartoe <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi Everyone, > > I was just wondering whether anyone has tried going tubless with the Grand > Bois Cypres tires?
