I'm running my XD2 triple as a "more or less" double with the six cog
cassette (15, 17, 20, 24, 29, 34) offset to the outside on an 8 sp
freehub body; the stock 46 gives me an 89" high and the 36/34 gives me
a 31" low (actual 29" wheels), which is enough range for almost all my
dirt riding; after all, I moved to the Fargo from a 63" Monocog 29er.
Onroad I simply use the 46X20 for almost everthing (67" gear).

Still, a 44/30 would be, as the White Ind blurb says, neater.
