Usually long socks. Depends on the weather as to how heavy. The long Surly socks from last year are good to the low 30s. Below that, Thorlo usually. Below that, usually long pants.
Then again, I've been a wimp the last couple of days, knickers when the temps are in the 50's borderline 60. Overcast with drizzle. Still needed to get out on the Sam Hillborne and enjoy it.
