Eric,
It seems that you spent part of your ride 'horsing around'?

Yesterday rode what was probably my last metric century of the year on
the Sam Hillborne. Sort of a spur of the moment thing. Weather was
decent (30's) but a bit windy as the day wore on. More a lazy ride
than anything. Possibly due to the fact the bike and rider were never
in "sync". Extended stops for lunch, a long chat with a friend and at
a music store to buy a shirt and try out some guitars.

Did get one good photo out of the ride - http://tinyurl.com/33ua5pp

No real point in the post other than to once again affirm that even on
an off day, the Sam Hillborne handles like a charm. There were a few
times that if I had been on a different bike, might have packed it in
early. But the Hillborne likes being ridden. Am thinking for next
year a different set of tires might be in the best interest of the
bike. Probably Pasela 35 as they are lying around. But who knows?
Don't really want to go any skinnier than 35. Actually would put on
37s if I had them. Maybe will score a pair by next spring.
