Hence the four times through. It looks like the chain makes a figure eight, so pedaling backwards drives it forward, I imagine the machine was the genesis of the idea.
I think it's really well done, with lots of cool details. I didn't even see the guy "pouring" water the first time. I'm totally impressed.
