What a beautiful Roadeo.
How about those Kojacks?
I notice that those are the tires on Mark Abele's cyclocross bike on
the Riv site under the 'staff bikes.

To respond to Mr. Moore's question: I'm pretty bad at describing
differences between Rivendells, because whichever one I am riding at
the time seems perfect. I am completely unqualified to talk about
front-end geometry, trail, offset, bb height, etc. It's hard for me
to notice that stuff, or at least hard for me to describe what I do
notice.
The set-up (mainly the CX tires on the L) make comparison different,
but I can say that both bikes are very comfortable and very responsive
on climbing, and rock solid on descents - - they both carve
predictable, stable lines on the fast downhills. The front steering
of L is a bit lighter - it kind of floats over gravel and single
track. I haven't ridden the R much on CX or fireroads.
You could probably build the two frames up with the same components
and be unable to tell the difference. If I put road tires on the L,
it would be fine for an 8-hour day on the road.
That's my seat-of-the pants comparison. Persons with more sensitive
(or better educated) seats will likely have a different opinion.

Very nice, but that's a cross bike. How does it ride and handle
compared to the R?
