Sounds like you had a great time. I love the images too. I didn't take any images, but I did up Thanksgiving on my Quickbeam as well, riding the 25+ miles from Honolulu to Kapolei to my sister's place for the Thanksgiving repast and then retracing my steps. It's a lot more urban than your ride but did some interesting views on the Pearl Harbor bike path. It's essentially flat. Again, no pictures, but I did trace the route at MapMyRide.

I attribute my slowness to age, lethargy, and the fact that it is urban riding so there are stop lights and such to deal with. I was pretty sure coming back would a be a lot slower because 1) it was against a fairly strong wind and 2) I was full, really full. Still it only took 20 minutes longer to get home and that included a quick stop at a grocery store. Go figure.
