Yes, color primarily :^) Luckily the Hillborne only comes in one standard color now. After seeing Velouria's Sam on her blog "Lovely Bicycles" I knew I wanted one. The Roadeo does seem to be different in that it is primarily made for speed and, who can resist a Homer? Gorgeous blue! I guess it's OK to own more than one Rivendell and I can see I am headed that way! best, Jim
