jon,

thank you so much for liking my bikes! the Super Tourer on my Flickr
page is actually a 23-1/2" (59.69cm), so were it not
for the fact the TT length is STILL the same as on my Competition (22"
or 55.88cm), it would probably be too big for me.

i don't have a photograph of it, but i also have a 1974 Super Tourer
that is a 57 (22-1/2"). it's not as elegantly
kitted as the 59, but it's a terrific commuter. i bought it from the
gentleman who bought it NEW in 1974. he still has the other ST he
purchased
from Raleigh after having gone to Worksop to SEE the prototypes of the
Super Tourer. on this bike i have, he replaced the 27x1.25" tires
with 700c by 38s on Shimano XT and LX hubs. The Huret derailleurs are
still there, though, and they're smooth as butter.
i will try to add a set of photos of this bike soon. What i love
about my Raleighs is
the 531 tubing (frame and fork) and the 22" top tube on all three.
the Competition is 74/74 (angles) and the Supers are 73/73. They are
different
bikes than my Roadeo, but i love them equally.
