I know it's a bit early for cabin fever, but I am dreaming of riding in the desert next summer.
A friend and I have kicked around several ideas for a 2-4 day trip but have never gone past the talk. I want to change that summer of 2011. The two routes we seem to gravitate towards are the Kokopelli and Stagecoach trails. Personally I am leaning toward the latter. I've read a few different and varying accounts of the terrain on the 70 mi Stagecoach trail from Flagstaff to the Grand Canyon. It seems that doing it one way in 2 days would be comfortably achievable and the more ambitious plan would be to go out and back in 2. We would be camping, and self supported. Most preferably I would like to take 4 days to go out and back so we could enjoy the sights and camping as much as the riding. We have done part of the Kokopelli heading from Fruita CO to Moab UT so it's a bit more familiar. If anyone has done either trail, I would love to hear your thoughts. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
